Site updates; fundraiser money
Posted: December 02, 2007
I spent the last week moving the videos/media pages around. It should now be
easier and faster to load. Also, the Demolition Derby Pictures are now in the Photo Gallery as well under
"Derby Pics".
Don't forget, the Pointsettia money is due by Wednesday, December 05 to Ms. Barber, and the Dunk'n Donuts
Coffee money is due Tuesday, December 04 to Mrs. Best.
Photo gallery back online

The photo gallery is back online. There have been a few minor changes. There will soon be Demolition Derby pictures uploaded
on there as well from the Canfield Fair a couple of months ago. I will also be adding a media page for any videos, Power Points, and the resolution some time
this week.

2006-2007 Competition Results

Pittsburgh Regional
The Robocats finished preliminary rounds in 13th place (of 35 teams)
and were selected by team 314 for Finals on Saturday. Team 2010 from Champion completed the alliance which was eliminated in quarterfinals.
Buckeye Regional
The Robocats captured the Regional Championship at the Buckeye Regional, along with teams #291 (the CIA from Erie, PA) and #48 (Warren
G. Harding's Delphi E.L.I.T.E. team)! By winning the Buckeye Regional the Robocats qualified for the World Championships!
The Robocats also captured the Spirit Award and wish to thank all of their supporters (over 75) who attended the Buckeye Regional. It was also wonderful to have State Senator Capri Cafaro visit us in Cleveland.
Greater Toronto Regional
The Robocats were picked in the first round by the seventh alliance captain, team #1006, and in the second round, the alliance picked up #48 (Delphi E.L.I.T.E.).
Just like Cleveland, we lost the first round; however, won the
next two games to advance to the semi-finals. After winning the first semi-final, we started to have problems. The forks on our elevator got bent up, our partner's ramp did not deploy properly, and a there was a
blown tread to deal with. But, everyone had fun, and we hope to go back
again soon.
Nationals
The Robocats performed well in Atlanta, but unfortunatley did not make it to finals. The team had a stong showing and posted one of the
highest scores of the day on Friday. It was wonderful to be able to meet and compete with over 325 of the best F.I.R.S.T. teams from around
the world and the team is very grateful to all of our supporters who made financial donations to ensure that we could attend the
Championship after qualifying by winning the Buckeye Regional.
