The public relations team handles everything necessary for the promotion
and day to day running of our team. This includes correspondence, publicity
in the media, our community, and our school; video, photography and team
archives; team spirit, Chairman's Award entry, updating of the Business Plan,
tracking team work hours and fundraising credit, organizing fundraisers and
community service, and travel arrangements, among many other activities.
Build Team
The build team includes programmers, designers and drivers all working together
to design, prototype, build, program and test a new robot every year under the
constraints of a 6-week deadline. The build team also builds items necessary
for practice fields, the build room, our shipping crate, and the pit at
competition. They are currently working on new display areas for our pits at
competition.
Drive Team
The drive team works with the build, programming, and design teams to come up
with the best way possible to drive the robot.
Programming Team
The programming team works with the Drive, Build, Design teams in order to see
what on the robot and joystick(s) need to do.
Web Team
The web team manages GirardRobotics.com
and makes sure everything is up-to-date.
